Who We Are
All About Animals Rescue is a nonprofit/charitable animal rescue organization serving Macon Georgia and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need.
Website Use
We agree to use our site lawfully and not to:

interfere with site security or operation

submit false information (including on adoption/foster/volunteer forms)

copy, scrape, or reuse content for commercial purposes without permission
We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the site at any time.
Donations
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at aaarmacon@gmail.com within 7 days and we’ll review requests case-by-case.

We may use donations where needed most unless a restricted purpose is clearly stated and accepted by us in writing.

Donation receipts are provided as available; donors are responsible for consulting a tax professional about deductibility.
Adoption Terms (General)
Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. We reserve the right to approve or deny any adoption at our sole discretion to protect animal welfare.
If approved, adopters agree:
-
to provide humane care: food, water, shelter, exercise, training, and companionship

to provide routine and emergency veterinary care as needed
-
not to abuse, neglect, abandon, or rehome/sell the animal without notifying us
-
to follow applicable local laws (licensing, leashing, rabies requirements, etc.)
-
to not physically alter the animal (cropping of ears, docked tails, declawing)
-
will not allow the animal to be used for dog fighting
-
AAAR reserves the right to conduct a home inspection at any time as well as remove the dog from the home should adopter be in violation of any item noted within this agreement
Fees: Adoption fees are due at time of adoption and are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in the adoption contract.
Animal Health, Behavior, and No Guarantees
Rescue animals may have unknown histories. While we disclose known medical/behavior information, you understand:

Health status may change after adoption.

Behavior can change in new environments.
-
We do not guarantee temperament, hypoallergenic status, compatibility with children/pets, or future medical condition.
Animals are adopted “as-is” to the extent permitted by law, with any specific promises only as written in your adoption agreement.
Returns, Rehoming, and Right of First Return
If you can no longer keep the adopted animal, you agree to contact us immediately.

No unauthorized transfer: You may not sell, give away, or surrender the animal to a shelter/third party without our written permission.

We may require the animal be returned to us (our “right of first return”), subject to our intake capacity and safety considerations.
Any return terms (timeframes/fees) are detailed in your adoption contract.
Spay/Neuter & Microchip (If Applicable)
If an animal is not altered at adoption, you agree to:

spay/neuter by stated date/age in your adoption contract, unless medically exempt in writing by a licensed vet
-
provide proof of surgery by deadline noted in your adoption contact
If microchipped, you agree to keep contact information updated.
Foster Program Terms
Fosters agree:
-
the animal remains the property/responsibility of the rescue (unless otherwise stated)
-
to follow feeding, medical, and care instructions
-
to attend vet appointments as scheduled or coordinate transport
-
not to arrange private rehoming outside rescue approval
-
to keep the animal safe (indoors unless approved, secure yard, proper crates/leashes)
We may remove an animal from foster at any time if necessary for safety or welfare.
Volunteer Participation & Risk Acknowled-gment
Volunteering involves inherent risks (scratches, bites, falls, allergic reactions, property damage). By volunteering or attending hands-on activities, you agree:

you participate voluntarily and assume these risks

you will follow safety policies and staff instructions
-
you will use appropriate protective equipment when advised
To the extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless All About Animals Rescue and its representatives from claims arising from ordinary negligence.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a legal guardian.
Events, Visits, and Facility Rules
When attending events or visiting animals:

follow posted rules and staff instructions
-
keep children supervised
-
keep personal pets away unless explicitly permitted
-
do not feed animals without permission
We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for safety or welfare reasons.
Intellectual Property
All website content (logos, photos, text, graphics) is owned by All About Animals Rescue or used with permission. You may not reuse it commercially without written consent.
Third-Party Links
Our site may link to third-party websites (payment processors, partners, social media). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Communi-cations & Consent
By submitting forms, you consent to be contacted about your application, donations, volunteering, or events. You may opt out of marketing emails anytime via the unsubscribe link.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, All About Animals Rescue is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to:

adoption/foster outcomes

animal health/behavior changes
-
volunteer participation
-
third-party services (payment processors, carriers)
If liability is found, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the prior 30 days, except where prohibited by law.
Indemnifi-cation
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless All About Animals Rescue from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the site, or unlawful conduct.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updates are effective when posted with a revised Effective Date. Last updated: 12/08/25
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will be Bibb County, Georgia, unless otherwise required by law.
